Let Me Love You

Isaiah 41:8–10

“But as for you, Israel my servant,

Jacob my chosen one,

descended from Abraham my friend,

I have called you back from the ends of the earth, saying,

‘You are my servant.’

For I have chosen you,

and I will not throw you away.

Don’t be afraid, for I am with you.

Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God.

I will strengthen you and help you.

I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.”

Let me love you!

Count the ways that God has loved us—loved you.

He loved you and me before our grandparents were born.

He loved us before our parents were born.

He proved His love for us over 2,000 years ago.

He loved us when He formed the earth.

Why do you think so many humans have turned away from God?

Over 2,000 years ago, Christ told His disciples to go forth and make disciples of others. I believe every human has had some moment in their life where God has shown up for them. But we, as silly humans, live from one moment to the next, and often we quickly forget where our help comes from—forgetting that we have experienced His faithfulness before.

I love to be outside. I love the feel of warm sunshine, cool breezes, snowflakes on my tongue, and rain in my face. I love to hear the gentle wind through the trees and touch rocks that God Himself created. I see and feel God in His creation—where plants and trees know who God is, where wildlife lives knowing our God. Nature never doubts the existence of God.

I don’t believe I have ever actually doubted God’s existence either. But I have been ashamed of my own existence. In my shame, I have avoided God—like a four-year-old with cookie crumbs on her face avoiding mom because she knew she wasn’t supposed to have a cookie before supper. I, too, have known I was not living the life God wanted for me.

Yesterday we talked about symmetry, but I want to point out something important: only we can choose to avoid our symmetry with God. Satan can throw rocks in our path and whisper in our ear, but he cannot see our hearts or force us to reject a relationship with God.

The truth is, every human being on this planet has a relationship with God. They may not believe in Him or recognize that relationship, but because He created us—and because we were given the ability to multiply—human life itself remains God’s work alone. We participate, but He creates. And because of that, we all belong to Him, regardless of belief.

As such, we all die, and we will all face Him—and all we have ever done, good or bad.

Symmetry with God

Symmetry with God refers to the divine order, balance, and harmony within creation, often reflecting God’s character through an “as above, so below” relationship between Creator and creation. This concept spans from the intentional design of the six days of creation (where days 1–3 correspond to days 4–6) to the spiritual alignment of human actions with divine will.

It signifies divine intervention in daily life and the manifestation of God’s poise and balance in human character.

Key Aspects of Symmetry with God:

Biblical / Creation Symmetry:

The structural, intentional design of creation, where God forms and then fills the world.

Divine Intervention & Harmony:

The recognition of God’s goodness in what may seem like coincidence, producing beauty, peace, and harmony in those who pray.

Spiritual / Moral Alignment:

A correspondence between divine attributes and human life—where walking in righteousness and delighting in the Lord reflects the fruits of the Spirit.

Unity and Peace:

The symmetry of peace, rooted in faith, forgiveness, love, patience, humility, and oneness within diversity.

Symbolic / Theological Symmetry:

The balance of justice and mercy, the paradox of the Trinity and Incarnation, and God’s perfectly held opposites.

Ordered Living:

An understanding of God’s order that leads to a properly ordered, balanced, and harmonious life.

This symmetry invites us into alignment with God’s divine plan—one that permeates creation, redemption, and the ultimate restoration of all things.

Abba Father God,

Thank You for loving us before we ever knew how to love You. Thank You for never throwing us away, even when we hide in shame or forget where our help comes from. Draw us back into alignment with You. Strengthen us, steady us, and hold us up with Your victorious right hand. Teach us to recognize Your presence in creation, in memory, and in each quiet moment of grace. Let us walk in harmony with You.

Amen.

The Lord’s Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven,

hallowed be Thy name.

Thy kingdom come,

Thy will be done,

on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread,

and forgive us our trespasses,

as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation,

but deliver us from evil.

For Thine is the kingdom,

and the power,

and the glory, forever.

Amen.

BELIEVE.

OBEY.

BE BLESSED.

AMEN.

BOBBA

Love, Penny
